I have always loved photography and had a great appreciation for it. I started “dabbling” in it after my mother gave me my first SLR FILM camera. It wasn’t until friends and co-workers commented on how much they loved the pictures that I took of my beautiful children, Oscar and Emelia that I thought I could possibly turn this passion into more. Once they started asking me to take photos of their kids, I was so flattered, I could not refuse!

I’m a small town gal from Kentucky who moved to Omaha for a career in Advertising. I have now settled here, making it my home.

Some have asked me - Why Mirror Images? Why did you choose that name? In Spanish, my last name, Espejo means mirror. So when I was searching for a name, it just fit because I truly believe that the photos I take will be a "reflection" of your life and memories.

I can’t tell you how it tickles me when I hear someone giving a compliment to a client about a picture I took for them. Not only is the parent proud enough to display it on their desk for others to see, but to see the sparkle in a parent’s eye when someone takes notice of their adorable children - it simply makes it all worthwhile.

A picture is a memory, a moment in time that you cannot get back, so I take my work very seriously, but like to have fun doing it. Each session is personal and I like to consult with you before it takes place. I want to make sure that you walk away happy and proud to display your photos. I don't want you to like your photos - I want you to LOVE them.

I prefer to take my images in natural light, so outside photos are preferable, but I can also provide an informal studio setting in my home or in yours.

I have many blessings in my life – my kids, my husband, my parents, my siblings and my friends. I have them all to thank for their support and encouragement – and ideas! Without them, I would have never attempted to make this into something more than just a hobby. But most importantly, I thank God every day for what he has given me and how he has blessed my life.
